Cooper Landing Historical Society and Museum
The society operates the Cooper Landing Historical Museum consisting of an old schoolhouse, and a log building which has been used as a store and post office.
Located at 17946 Sterling Highway in Cooper Landing the museum is open by appointment and during the summer months.
Hope and Sunrise Historical Society
The society was founded in 1971. It operates the Hope and Sunrise Historical and Mining Museum which was created to remember and celebrate South-central Alaska’s first mining community.
Located at 64851 Second St. in Hope and open during the summer months.
Kasilof Regional Historical Association
The association operates the Kasilof Historical Museum and Park. Its buildings and artifacts represent Kasilof’s historic periods of salmon canning, big game hunting and fox farming.
Located at 24117 Kalifornsky Beach Rd.
Kenai Historical Society
The society operates the Historic Cabin Park which was established to preserve the village era of Kenai history. The cabins were home to Kenai residents and represent different aspects of early Kenai life.
Open during the summer months the park is located at Main St. and Cook Ave. in Old Town Kenai.
North Road Pioneers
The group is dedicated to preserving Nikiski’s history and collects written, audio, and video stories of native histories, homestead days, oil discoveries and other impacts influencing the formation of the Nikiski community.

Pratt Museum
The mission of the Pratt Museum is to strengthen relationships between people and place through stories relevant to Kachemak Bay.
Located at 3779 Bartlett Street in Homer and currently open daily from 10:00 – 6:00.
Resurrection Bay Historical Society
The society was incorporated in 1965 and collects, preserves and disseminates information related to the eastern Kenai Peninsula. The society maintains a collection of artifacts which is showcased on the first floor of the Seward Community Library & Museum at 239 Sixth Ave. in Seward.
Soldotna Historical Society & Museum, Inc.
Incorporated in 1986, the society operates the Soldotna Historical Society Museum with a focus on preserving local homestead heritage. The museum features a wildlife museum and a historic log village.
Open during the summer the museum is located on Centennial Park Road in Soldotna.
